Bijali Mahadev temple is dedictaed to Lord Shiva. The Temple is located on top of a hill, here one can have a panormaic view of the surrounding valleys of Kullu that will surely leave you mesmerised and amazed. The myth and belief of the local resident about lightening is that at every 12 years interval there is lightening fall on the shiv ling, after it breaks in to pieces and scattered pieces are collected by temple pundit to again form the shiv ling using fresh butter collected from the villagers. First take a cab from Manali or Kullu to Chansari Village. From Chansari village Bijali Mahadev temple is around 3 km of distance by walk. From there you can climb the stairs to reach the Bijali Mahadev Temple.
